Netshare respects your privacy and is designed with privacy as a core principle.

1. Data Collection

Netshare does not collect, store, or transmit the files you share to any external servers.

The application operates primarily within your local network and does not require user accounts or cloud services.

2. File Transfers

All file transfers occur directly between devices on the same network.

Transferred data is not routed through third-party servers operated by Netshare.

3. Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Google Ads

Netshare uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, monitor stability, and diagnose failures. Depending on how the app is used and configured, these services may process information such as app-instance identifiers, session and usage statistics, approximate geolocation, device and app information, stack traces, relevant app state, and device metadata associated with crashes or errors. Netshare uses this information only to monitor performance, investigate bugs and crashes, and improve app quality. It is used only for app analytics, diagnostics, and stability improvement.

Netshare may also use Google Ads services to display and measure ads in the app. Depending on configuration, these services may process data such as device and app information, identifiers, approximate location, ad-interaction data, and performance information to support ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. Where required, ad-related processing is subject to applicable user consent and platform privacy settings.

Note: Firebase, Crashlytics, and Google Ads are integrated only in official app-store builds, not in the open-source project source code.

4. Internet Access

Internet access is not required for core local file-transfer functionality.

If optional online features are introduced in the future, they will be clearly disclosed and governed by updated policies.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to ensure secure communication between devices within the local network.

However, users are responsible for ensuring the security of their own network environments.

6. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

7. Terms of Use (EULA)

NetShare uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps distributed through the App Store. By downloading or using NetShare from the App Store, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard licensed application terms, unless NetShare provides a separate written agreement that applies to your use.
